[StridePulse](https://apparel-sneakers.mock.shop/llms.txt) is a [mock.shop](https://www.mock.shop/) sample store for building against a sneaker and footwear shop before a real Shopify store is ready. The catalog includes sneakers, boots, slides, insoles, sunglasses, and shoe care kits. There are 30 products across four collections. Products have 12 variants each, with product-specific choices for building selectors.

## What this catalog lets you test

Build a sneaker and footwear storefront with product pages, collection browsing, and mixed-item carts. High-Tech Athletic Sneaker uses Color (Carbon, Cobalt, Volt) and Size (7, 8, 9, 10). Use those returned values to build its selectors. All 30 products have prices that vary by selection, so keep product pages and carts aligned with the selected variant. Eight products have compare-at prices for sale displays. Collections such as Urban Sprint Velocity and Street-Ready High-Stance support themed browsing. Read each product’s choices: some sample accessories use Material and Finish rather than footwear sizes. Names aren’t proof of comfort or athletic performance.

Follow the repository’s setup instructions, then set `PUBLIC_STORE_DOMAIN=apparel-sneakers.mock.shop` in `.env` and restart the dev server to use StridePulse’s catalog. Leave `PUBLIC_STOREFRONT_API_TOKEN` empty; mock.shop doesn’t require a token.

## Move to a real Shopify store

mock.shop uses fictional, read-only catalog data. Cart operations work, and checkout is mocked: no payment is taken and no real order is placed. The Customer Account API isn’t supported.
